Spring Shots
I’m amazed over how well software technicians have developed the “bait and switch” skill! When blogging first started, it was a whole lot more enjoyable than what it has become!
Control over how the finished publication will look has diminished greatly over the decades. Everything is made ultra complex, so that by the time you discover what you thought you had is not at all what you believed it to be, you’ve wasted much time (and possibly money too!).
It used to be quick and easy to have a collage of images on a post set up so that clicking on any of the images causes them all to become a slide show. Then one day that all magically disappeared to become a nightmare to figure out how to regain what was once taken without permission. It’s not that one can’t figure this stuff out if they want to badly enough. It’s that it’s becoming not worth the time and effort to bother. I did go and make one last effort to regain the ability to have a carousel slide show, which explains why it’s able to be employed on this blog. Knowing this pattern of behavior that exists in the tech world taught me to keep my solutions to problems elsewhere, so that the people who create these problems cannot have a source of info to use for creating more problems!
