A Beautiful Bible

It’s only fitting a beautiful God deserves to have His Word bound in a beautiful Bible! This Journaling Bible was inexpensive, because the materials used to make it were cheap. That’s why the cover wore off in less than two years, after starting to use it. I had to live without it for 22 days, while it was being recovered with genuine calfskin leather. It was mailed out priority mail on August 8, 2023. I received it back by mail on August 30th.

Pride comes before the fall. I was proud over how well the Bible was packaged, until I saw that I forgot to put the service order form inside the box! A sharp knife sliced open the tape to unfold the paper, but it was a tight fit getting the book in and out of it. Praise God for a job well done!

Even greater praise goes to God for how well done the Bible got recovered! For this large size Bible, calfskin leather was recommended. This particular Bible is a journaling and coloring edition incorporating the New Living Translation in large print.

Again, pride came before the fall. I was proud of how well the thank you note was written, until I noticed it was written upside down in the card! The photographs showing the new cover do not accurately depict the Bible’s new look. It doesn’t look as flat and wrinkled as the pictures make it appear. The best part of the new cover is its feel and smell! It smells like a leather saddle and has the texture of one too!
